Movietime

Phew, just spent a couple of hours cleaning the apartment - it's amazing how much crap four guys can amount in just a couple of days. You do end up finding quite some stuff you thought you'd lost though, and even more stuff you never knew you had. Heh.

Regardless, we'll celebrate this by heading down to the cinemas. Me, the frenchie, both the norwegians and a fellow blogger are gonna go see The Social Network, AKA the Facebook movie. It's supposed to be better than it sounds, so we'll give it a shot. Here's the trailer, in case anyone wants to see it.

Running 'round Dublin

These past two or three days have been... hectic, to say the least :) Lots and lots of things to do (which is one of the reasons this blog has been kind of empty, to say the least) and just not enough time. Thank god I'm too calm to get stressed out, I would've gone mental.

And it's Halloween week! Everyone's favorite commercialism event makes a great reason to party, and all the student places are sure to pick it up. Last night was the official Griffith College Halloween Ball, and one word would be enough: Awesome. The designated club was brilliant, and some of the costumes were awesome. Me likey.

One of these days, I should really make sure to fix this blog up a bit, give it some spice. But then again, I should do a lot of things..

First post

Dublin is a funny city.
No, really.

I've been here for a month now, and I have to say; I've never seen anything like it. I'm from a small town in Sweden, and nothing is the same. Absolutely nothing. So, since we had to blog about something in class, I've decided to start blogging about whatever minor (or major) speedbumps I might, and will, stumble over.

Knowing me, we might have a lot of posts. It's not all Dublin's fault for putting me in these situations, some may or may not be self-inflicted. After all, I'm lazy, kind of mean, and I have no sense of direction what so ever. That last one has already put me in trouble quite a few times already. Whoever planned this city deserves some kind of public flogging. I've been lost quite a few times, and putting bars and pubs everywhere isn't helping. It's awesome, don't get me wrong, but there are just not enough places with cheap booze to justify all these side alleys. But hey, I'm rambling. I'll stop. For now.

Anywhoo then, I'll try to update this blog somewhat regularly. I've never had a blog before, and I can't really say that I've ever been arsed to read one more than a couple of times a month. Oh well, hopefully I'll manage to keep things interesting.
